Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, which include comprehensive physical examinations and detailed reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work in close collaboration with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide essential intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring the proper positioning of patients, and handling surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, covering areas like medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical experiences is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
