Make a positive difference in the lives of middle and high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract-based role offers the opportunity to provide specialized support to a small caseload of students in a supportive educational setting. The position requires an active Indiana SLP license, and starts August 10th, 2026, ending May 24th, 2027.
What you bring:
- Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and comfort working with both middle and high school students
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services to a caseload of 5–10 students in accordance with their IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and create intervention plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and educational goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Contribute to IEP meetings and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
- Adapt services as appropriate, including the possibility of virtual delivery depending on individual student IEPs
