Marketing Intern

INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW We’re looking for motivated, curious, and detail-oriented interns to join our team this fall. You’ll be actively involved in real client work, creative ideation, and day-to-day agency operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience across content creation, social media strategy, and campaign execution, while learning directly from a team of experienced marketers, creatives, and mentors. LOCATION & COMMITMENT Duration : Fall w/ opportunity to continue into the spring Compensation : College Credit OR Paid Hours : Minimum of 15 hours per week Applicants must be located in DFW and able to commute to our Dallas office and local clients. WHAT YOU'LL DO Support the development and execution of marketing strategies across a variety of clients and industries Create engaging, on-trend content for social media (Reels, TikToks, Stories, etc.) Assist with client photoshoots and content capture (on-site + in-office) Contribute to content calendars, scheduling, and day-to-day social media management Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities Support campaign execution across social, email, and digital marketing channels Monitor performance metrics and assist in pulling insights for optimization Participate in team brainstorms and contribute creative ideas Collaborate with team members across accounts, design, and content Stay current on social trends, platform updates, and cultural moments WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR A strong interest in marketing, social media, and content creation A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to jump in and help Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple projects Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively Open to feedback and excited to learn and grow A pulse on social trends, content styles, and emerging platforms WHAT YOU'LL GAIN Hands-on experience contributing to real client work across restaurants, retail centers, and lifestyle brands A behind-the-scenes look at a fast-paced agency environment, including workflows, tools, and project management systems Mentorship from a collaborative team of experienced marketing professionals and creatives Opportunities to build a strong, portfolio-worthy body of work A deeper understanding of strategy, content creation, and campaign execution in modern marketing Exposure to client communication, collaboration, and day-to-day account management Potential for continued growth, including part-time or full-time opportunities following the internship Hybrid flexibility with one work-from-home day per week aligned with the agency schedule WHY THE NIX COMPANY At The Nix Company, we believe great work comes from great people.
