Automotive Parts, Shipping And ReceivingMarine Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Full-Time Automotive Parts, Shipper and Receiver. This candidate will process the shipping and receiving of parts through the Parts Department. Required schedule will be Monday – Friday, some Saturdays. Ideal candidate will have automotive parts shipping and receiving experience. Auto dealership experience with General Motors is preferred. Valid driver’s license is required.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesControls receipt of inventoryReceives incoming shipments, checking the packing slip with actual shipment for completeness and accuracy before placement in appropriate warehouse locationIdentifies and reports all overages and shortagesStocks parts and accessories in correct bin locationsNotifies appropriate personnel of receipt of all special ordersPerforms inventory test counts as directed by managementLoads and unloads trucksMay operate a forklift to move materials and unload vehiclesMaintains an organized, clean and safe work areaParticipates in required trainingRecords all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping systemFollows safeguards rules and regulationsFollows company safety policies and proceduresObserves and follows all federal, state and local regulations applicable to industryPerforms other duties as assignedRequirementsPrior experience requiredDriver’s LicenseSubmits and completes a successful background check and pre-employment drug screenBenefits401(k), Paid vacation, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Employee DiscountsCompany OverviewMarine Chevrolet means uncompromising quality in automotive merchandising, and it’s been that way since 1946!
