About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neuro/Trauma ICU Profession: RN Specialty: Neuro/Trauma ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Rotating Day/Night Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 3 years of critical care experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: 2+ years of strong critical care experience required. 1+ years of travel experience required. 2+ years of neuro critical care nursing preferred. Description: The position involves caring for critically ill patients with a range of neurological diagnoses. Patients may have neurotrauma, status epilepticus, stroke, and spinal cord injury. Some patients may present with complex comorbidities and multisystem organ involvement. The clinician to patient ratio is 1:2. The patient population consists of adult patients. The bed count for the unit is 24, with an average census of 22. This role requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
