Starting Pay: $28–$32/hour, based on experience

Hope Valley Homecare Services LLC is seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Program Manager / Administrator to help lead and develop our services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We are looking for someone who understands quality care, compliance, staff supervision, documentation, and person-centered services. Previous experience working with Connecticut DDS or a Connecticut DDS-qualified provider is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include:
• Oversee day-to-day DDS program operations
• Coordinate participant intake and service implementation
• Communicate professionally with DDS case managers, families, guardians, and other stakeholders
• Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and staff development
• Monitor employee credentials, training, and compliance requirements
• Review service documentation, progress notes, incidents, and required records
• Help ensure services are delivered according to individual plans and agency policies
• Conduct supervisory visits and quality-assurance reviews
• Maintain organized participant and employee records
• Assist management with preparation for DDS reviews and audits
• Help develop a strong, respectful, person-centered workplace culture

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Work, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business/Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred
• Previous Connecticut DDS provider experience strongly preferred
• Previous supervisory, program-management, residential-management, or administrative experience preferred
• Knowledge of person-centered planning, incident reporting, abuse/neglect reporting, human rights, confidentiality/HIPAA, and documentation requirements
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Ability to supervise employees and handle urgent staffing situations professionally
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must complete all required background screening and applicable DDS/provider training

Schedule: Initially 25–30 hours per week with the potential to increase as the program grows. Hybrid position requiring regular availability in the office and community.

We are especially interested in candidates who have previously worked as a DDS Program Manager, Program Coordinator, Residential Manager, House Manager, Assistant Director, Case Manager, or similar I/DD leadership role.
