Scope of work Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Assures equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at beginning and end of each imaging procedure. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices. Follows Corewell philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Currently in accredited Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or Ultrasonography program at 2nd year student level. Work Experience Training can be gained while at student level. Must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program. Certification, Licensure, Registration Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers Course from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross.
