Senior Financial Analyst, Google Data Center Finance

Collaborate with all levels of the organization to optimize planning, forecasting, and management of the data center operating teams.Help drive investment decisions, reduce risks, make resource trade-offs while keeping agility for the business, as well as uncover areas that need further analysis or attention. Partner with other Finance, Accounting, and Business/Product teams to ensure a holistic approach for decision making, regulatory compliance, accurate analytics and reporting, and effective data collection.Work with senior management across finance and the business to drive key financial metrics and improve financial insight & practices. Coach and guide team members to ensure meaningful professional development for team members.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.Experience with programming (i.e. SQL).Preferred qualifications:Experience managing financial planning and analysis specifically tailored to the data center function.Ability to translate complex financial analytics into clear, persuasive narratives for senior leadership.Advanced financial modeling and SQL skills combined with sharp business judgment to solve complex problems.Demonstrated integrity, strong work ethic, and positive people skills to lead and collaborate effectively.Track record of driving cross-functional collaboration and influencing decisions through disciplined, data-driven insights.Self-directed, resilient professional comfortable navigating and structuring work within unstructured environments.Technical Infrastructure (TI) is the backbone of Google, encompassing the global data centers, networks, and integrated hardware and software that power our products and internal operations. Given the multi-billion-dollar scale of these annual investments, we require strong financial leadership to manage planning, risk, controls, and opportunity analytics.As a strategic financial partner for Google Data Centers, you will lead end-to-end Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to drive data-backed decision-making across the organization. This includes managing full-cycle financial operations spanning monthly reporting packages, robust variance analysis, and the orchestration of annual planning. Acting as a trusted advisor to both business and finance leadership, you will deliver actionable insights, forecast short- and long-term models, and enforce spend governance to optimize capital and operational expenditures.Leveraging your ability to influence without authority, you will frequently lead complex, cross-functional projects. You will seamlessly collaborate with teams across technical infrastructure, accounting, corporate finance, internal audit, systems, and engineering to align financial strategy with large-scale technical execution.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
