Accounting Clerk - Contract to Hire Opportunity

Vernon, CA | $22-$27/hour DOE | 100% Onsite Role

A growing organization is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to support transactional accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with invoice processing, purchase order matching, and maintaining accurate financial records in a structured environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute three-way matching procedures to verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving records
• Assist with processing vendor invoices and supporting accounts payable workflows
• Review financial documentation to ensure accuracy and proper authorization
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with purchasing and warehouse teams
• Support general ledger functions through reconciliations and documentation preparation
• Maintain accurate vendor records and filing systems
• Provide administrative and accounting support to meet operational deadlines

Requirements

• At least 3 years of accounting clerk or related accounting support experience
• Familiarity with purchasing processes and invoice validation procedures
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software systems
• Ability to work onsite daily in Vernon

Pay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
