Accounting Clerk - Contract to Hire Opportunity Vernon, CA | $22-$27/hour DOE | 100% Onsite Role A growing organization is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to support transactional accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with invoice processing, purchase order matching, and maintaining accurate financial records in a structured environment. Core Responsibilities

- Execute three-way matching procedures to verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving records
- Assist with processing vendor invoices and supporting accounts payable workflows
- Review financial documentation to ensure accuracy and proper authorization
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with purchasing and warehouse teams
- Support general ledger functions through reconciliations and documentation preparation
- Maintain accurate vendor records and filing systems
- Provide administrative and accounting support to meet operational deadlines
- At least 3 years of accounting clerk or related accounting support experience
- Familiarity with purchasing processes and invoice validation procedures
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software systems
- Ability to work onsite daily in Vernon
