Connect to what matters.The OpportunityAs a Scheduler within the Nominations and Scheduling West team, you will support daily natural gas transportation and storage operations across TC Energy's U.S. pipeline and storage assets. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely scheduling, confirmations, and operational alignment with interconnect operators and customers.This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and collaboration are essential to maintaining reliable service and compliance with tariff and operational requirements.Reporting to the Manager of Nominations and Scheduling West, this position operates on a rotational schedule that provides extended operational coverage, including regular evening, weekend, and holiday hours.What You'll DoOperational Scheduling & ExecutionExecute scheduling activities in a deadline-driven environment where accuracy and attention to detail is critical to operational successSchedule natural gas pipeline and storage capacity across multiple assetsConfirm scheduled activity with pipeline operators and interconnectsMonitor storage, park & loan activity, and power plant operations to ensure compliance with tariff and service requirementsUpdate operational pipeline capacity and location information as requiredCustomer & Stakeholder SupportServe as a point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders on all scheduling mattersRespond to customer and operator inquiries related to nominations, capacity scheduling, and confirmationsAssist customers with nominations and provide training and support on transactional system functionalityCollaboration & CoverageWork collaboratively across commercial, operations, measurement, and accounting teams to resolve operational issuesSupport time-sensitive pipeline operations by providing coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a rotational team scheduleProvide additional coverage during peak periods, critical operational events, or significant system activitiesSupport operations from alternate work locations as needed during critical weather or system events as neededPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or 4+ years of related work experienceStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex operational concepts clearlyAbility to manage tasks within fixed and tight deadlinesAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a rotational team environmentProficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)Familiarity with interstate natural gas pipeline tariffs, contracts, and operationsWorking knowledge of NAESB standards related to nominations, scheduling, and interconnect confirmationsPreferred QualificationsExperience scheduling natural gas for interstate pipeline and/or storage assetsExperience working with pipeline transactional and scheduling systemsExperience working with AI tools for daily operations, innovation, and process improvementsWorking knowledge of TC Energy's U.S. natural gas pipeline and storage assetsWork EnvironmentOffice environment is an open-floor conceptMust be able to work from home in a quiet, distraction-free environmentMust have reliable internet accessTo remain competitive, support our high-performance culture and allow for more flexibility in the way we work, we offer a hybrid work model and flexible dress code for our eligible office-based workforce in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. #LI-HybridWe are a leader in North American energy infrastructure, spanning Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.
