Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and expand our client base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their event needs and preferences.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients to propose tailored catering solutions that align with their vision and budget.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts for potential clients.
- Collaborate closely with the culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of all contracted events.
- Track sales activities, manage client information, and provide regular reports on sales performance and pipeline.
- Represent The Classic Catering People at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales.
- 2-5 years experience in the catering industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A passion for food, events, and creating memorable experiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
