Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Administer treatments and medications and interpret diagnostic tests
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Provide education to patients and/or significant others as appropriate
• Incorporate knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current certification in CPR, ACLS, and PALS
• Ability to utilize the nursing process in all aspects of patient care delivery

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical or acute care setting
• Demonstrated commitment to performance improvement and positive patient outcomes
