About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean of Health Sciences and General Education to provide strategic leadership and oversight of academic programs in the health sciences and general education. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of students and the community. This role involves fostering a culture of academic excellence, supporting faculty development, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. The Dean will also be involved in budget management, resource allocation, and promoting the college's mission and values. Candidates for the Dean position should have a terminal degree in a relevant field, a strong academic background, and a proven track record in academic administration. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion in education. Experience in program development, assessment, and a clear understanding of the evolving landscape of health sciences and general education are essential. The Dean will be expected to engage in scholarly activities and maintain professional relationships with external partners in the field.
