Seeking Skilled Controller - Law Firm

We areseeking a skilled Controller with a proven track record in managing the finances of alegal practice.The controller will assist with maintaining accurate and timely financial systems and records of the firm.The controller will develop, improve and or maintain the financial systems to provide proper administrative structure and leadership to the firm's managementteam of a 50-personfirm. Responsibilities would include supervision and training ofthe other accounting and administrative staffwithin the department. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards Coordinate and prepare for audits Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff Partner with firm leadership on financial strategy and planning Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,minimum of5 years of experience as a controller in a law firm environment Deep understanding of law firm billing practices, time keeping, trust accounting andcase litigation management systems.Proficiency with QuickBooks Online required (experience with other legal accounting software Elite, Aderant, ProLaw or similar a plus) Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting Full-time, in-office position Employer currently pays 100% of employee medical and dental premium (PPO or HMO) Paid vacation and sick days 401(k) and profit-sharing plan after 1 year of employment Supportive, team-oriented culture Submit your resume and cover letter (including salary requirements) to All inquiries will be kept strictly confidential. #J-18808-Ljbffr Arias Sanguinetti | Trial Lawyers
