Registered Nurse - ICU/Intermediate Care

06:45 PM - 07:15 AM, every other weekend, and every other holiday.

Job Description

This is a bedside patient care position in a 16-bed ICU & Intermediate Care unit with an average daily census of 81 patients. The role requires Epic experience and entails providing high-quality care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive bedside care to patients in the ICU and Intermediate Care settings.
• Utilize Epic software for patient documentation and care coordination.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state RN license is required.
• Experience in ICU and Intermediate Care preferred.
• Proficient in Epic electronic health records.
• Current certifications, including but not limited to MMR, Hepatitis B, TB Test, Varicella, Tdap, and Fit Test, are required for onboarding.
• Successful completion of Rhythm Interpretation and Pharmacology exams.
• Driver's license/state ID required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
