Come join the Seneca Foods team.POSITION SUMMARY – Responsible for accurately monitoring and recording the movement of products into and out of Seneca Foods' inventory system to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES, OR JOB DUTIES –Review daily inventory transactions and activities to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepanciesInvestigate inventory quantity variances and collaborate with appropriate departments to identify root causesGenerate and analyze the Inbound Stone Report to track and verify incoming shipmentsRecord damaged products in the inventory system and ensure proper documentation for reporting and accountabilityMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company housekeeping standardsCoordinate with Customer Service to confirm product availability and meet scheduled ship datesADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES –Provide back up for data entry clerks or other office personnel as neededOther duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS –Ability to read, write, comprehend instructionsGood communication and organizational skills.Requires judgment to plan, perform and make decisionsBasic computer skillsAbility to operate basic office machinesHigh School Education or equivalentEXPERIENCE –1 to 3 months' experience and/or trainingPrevious experience in a related position preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS –Hand MovementSittingCrawlingReadingLifting 30 lbs. or moreTwisting/TurningWritingPushing/PullingRespiratory FitHand/Eye CoordinationBendingOperate Motorized VehicleStandingClimbingOthers (detail below) Will need to walk extensively in warehouse at times.WORKING CONDITIONS – Mainly in an office setting, however, time in the warehouse is required. Noise level is usually moderate. May require extensive walking at times.SAFETY REQUIREMENTS – Adhere to all safety equipment requirements to include bump hat, hairnet, and ear protection. Safety glasses are required in some areas.ACCOUNTABILITY – Position is accountable for making sure daily inventory activity report is accurate and making corrections as needed.
