Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN - Psych - Travel specializing in geriatric psychiatric care for a 10-week assignment in Akron, OH. This role requires working within a 16-room unit designed for patients over the age of 60. As part of a dedicated team, you will provide essential care to those experiencing dementia, depression, or suicidal tendencies, with staffing ratios and support tailored to patient acuity.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Psych - Travel

Deliver specialized psychiatric care to geriatric patients
Administer medications, draw blood, and manage IVs
Maintain a safe environment using Centrak badges
Float within scope of practice to Med/Surg units as needed
Participate in team collaboration to optimize patient care plans

Requirements of the RN - Psych - Travel

BLS and CPI certification required
Epic experience within the last year
2+ years of geriatric psychiatric nursing experience
Accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE
Ability to float within the scope of practice
