Nurse Practictioner

Job Overview As a Nurse Practitioner/Sub-Investigator in clinical research, you will work closely with the Principal Investigator (MD) and Clinical Research Coordinators to conduct trials. The Nurse Practitioner plays a critical role in the conduct and success of the clinical trial, acting as the Sub-Investigator, performing clinical assessments of study participants, and evaluating safety assessments. You will oversee the patient's participation throughout the clinical trial to ensure their safety and well-being. Key Duties Reviewing and evaluating clinical trial protocols Performing physical examinations Performing study-specific medical assessments (training provided) Assessing lab results and interpreting ECGs Ensuring the clinic provides an overall positive experience for all patients Learning and preparing for new clinical trials at the site Attending investigator meetings (optional, US-based, all expenses paid) Assisting in chart review and quality assurance Communicating with protocol medical monitors from the sponsor Conducting patient visits in the absence of the Principal Investigator Supporting site clinical staff (Clinical Research Coordinators, nurses) and providing guidance as needed Requirements Nurse Practitioner or equivalent Active North Carolina Medical License (NP, PA, or equivalent) required Previous clinical research experience is not required; all training will be provided We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
