Grade: Hourly 18 | H-18

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Site Administrator and Manager of School Nursing, the school nurse (LPN) works with students and the entire school community supporting health needs such as medication administration, first aid, immunization compliance, and workers compensation documentation, etc. Computer use for tasks such as email, submitting attachments, reports, online supply orders, accessing forms, etc.


Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
• Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing program from vocational or other technical school
Experience:
• Two (2) years of nursing experience
• School nursing, pediatric nursing, or related nursing specialty experience preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:
• Valid, unrestricted license for practical nursing from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
• Knowledge of fundamental nursing concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Possess or ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
