About Violet Crown Veterinary Specialists
Violet Crown Veterinary Specialists (VCVS) is Austin’s only privately owned specialty and emergency animal hospital. Located in Bee Cave, we provide advanced medical care for pets in a compassionate, calm environment. Our team is close-knit, mission-driven, and dedicated to both excellence and empathy.
Position Overview
*This position includes a sign-on bonus.*
As an Emergency Veterinarian at Violet Crown, you’ll handle a variety of urgent and complex cases in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You’ll be part of a team that values empathy, clinical excellence, and clear communication — with the flexibility to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
What You'll Do
- Triage and treat emergency and critical cases with confidence and care
- Communicate clearly with clients and referring veterinarians
- Collaborate with specialty departments for advanced case management
- Support technicians and CSR staff through teamwork and guidance
- Contribute to a positive, growth-oriented hospital culture
What We're Looking For
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree
- Active Texas veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in emergency or specialty medicine
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Team-focused, compassionate approach to patient care
