Pediatric Colorectal Surgeon — Teaching & Research

Position Overview The Division of General Surgery, Section of Pediatric and Colorectal Reconstructive Surgery is seeking a pediatric surgeon with an interest in pediatric colorectal surgery to join a team committed to providing excellent care in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Maintain an active clinical and surgical practice Teach medical students, surgery fellows, and residents Rotate into general surgery call with elective practice focused on colorectal surgery Foster a colorectal research interest in collaboration with Children’s Mercy Research Institute Qualifications and Expectations Commitment to excellence, integrity, collegiality, antiracism, and respect for inclusion of individuals with diverse backgrounds Benefits and Academic Appointment Children’s Mercy offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
