Strong Force Staffing is proud to serve as the exclusive Clinical Search Partner for one of the most respected acute care hospitals in Austin, Texas . Were supporting their search for a Nurse Manager to lead a high-acuity Labor & Delivery Unit with full responsibility for unit operations, staff development, and patient outcomes.

Location: Austin, TX

Type: Permanent, Full-Time, W2

Salary Range: $84,849 $127,274 (based on experience)

Relocation & Sign-On Bonus: Available

Unit Size: 21 beds, ~2,600 annual deliveries

FTEs: 57.0

The hospital operates a Level III NICU , a specialized OB ED , and a high-risk antepartum unit designed to handle complex maternal and neonatal cases with grace and precision. What You'll Do:

Own the day-to-day operations of Labor & Delivery
Drive performance, patient safety, and quality benchmarks
Lead and mentor clinical teams through growth and change
Partner across departments to ensure seamless OB care
Represent a hospital culture built around clinical excellence

What Youll Bring:

At least 1 full year as a Nurse Manager in the past 3 years (ANMs with 2+ years will also be considered)
Minimum 2 years acute care L&D leadership experience
BSN required, MSN preferred
Active TX RN license (or compact eligibility)
BLS & ACLS certified
