QC Inspector I

Quality Control Inspector Monitor quality standards for incoming material and manufactured products. Perform inspections of adjustable speed drives and power apparatus throughout the various stages of the manufacturing process. Perform inspections of incoming material. Assist with projects as assigned by department leadership. Follow all established processes and procedures and adhere to all safety practices. Duties and Responsibilities: Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and equipment specifications. Measure products using basic tools such as calipers, rulers and gauge. Perform any mechanical adjustments as required per procedure. Follow procedures and checklist to capture quality data for adjustable speed drives and power apparatus. Requirements Minimum Education / Experience: Prefer 0-2 years of professional or military experience related to quality control inspection of electro-mechanical equipment. Familiar with the use of standard measuring equipment. Knowledge of ISO and UL standards is highly desired. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Physical Requirements Standing, squatting, and bending in order to capture inspection data. Some lifting and use of pallet jacks may be required. Velocity Flex
