Unit Information

Location: Miami, FL

Unit: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

General Information

• Number of Beds: 4 rooms, 1 patient per room
• Number of Staff: 22 (comprising Registered Nurses and Technicians)
• Staffing Structure:
  
  
  • Day Shift: Director, Manager, and a minimum of 3 staff members per room
  • Night Shift: On-call team with 4 staff members on STEMI call
• Patient Ratios: Estimated 1:1
• Type of Equipment: All GE rooms
• Documentation System: Meditech and MacLab
• Call Requirements: Maximum of 15 days call during critical periods

Typical Hiring Profile

Must Have:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Neuro experience
• RCIS or ARRT certification

Typical Procedures Performed

• Cardiac Catheterization
• Cerebella Angiograms
• Stent placements
• Balloon procedures
• ENT Lab procedures
• Scrubbing for various interventions

Additional Preferences

• Previous travel experience preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
• Capability to function well independently

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Surgical Scrubs. The unit will provide scrubs.
