Salesforce Solution Architect

Position Description Saltbox Mgmt is hiring a Salesforce B2B Commerce Engagement Director to lead strategic client engagements, drive solution architecture, and ensure successful business outcomes across Salesforce implementations. This role combines Salesforce expertise, consulting leadership, stakeholder management, pre-sales support, and delivery ownership to guide customers from solution vision through execution while leveraging our AI powered capabilities to accelerate innovation, efficiency, and customer value. Our Engagement Directors manage a team of Principal Consultants. Key Responsibilities Drive Customer Success by leading pre-sales activities, discovery workshops, solution architecture, estimation, and delivery planning while translating customer objectives into scalable Salesforce solutions that deliver measurable business value. Lead and develop a high-performing team of Principal Consultants while consistently contributing billable revenue through strategic client engagements, ensuring operational excellence, team growth, and delivery success. Build Ownership & Accountability by leading engagements with a strong sense of responsibility for outcomes, proactively managing project risks and scope, aligning delivery teams, facilitating executive stakeholder discussions, and driving customers through complex business and technology decisions from strategy through execution. Foster a People First culture by collaborating closely with Account Executives, Project Managers, Architects, Developers, QA teams, Salesforce stakeholders, and client leadership while providing clear direction, mentorship, and support that enables successful outcomes. Required Technical and Professional Expertise: What You'll Need to Succeed 7+ years of Salesforce consulting, solution architecture and engagement leadership experience delivering solutions for external clients. Deep expertise leading Salesforce B2B Commerce implementations and architecting enterprise-scale, leveraging Salesforce B2B Commerce, Order Management, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related platform capabilities, with Revenue Cloud or CPQ experience strongly preferred. Lead client engagements from pre-sales through delivery, including discovery, requirements gathering, solution architecture, estimation, stakeholder alignment, and implementation oversight. Executive-level communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions, present solution strategies, and build credibility with senior client leadership teams. Proven experience managing project risks, scope discussions, change requests, delivery governance, and customer expectations across complex engagements. Experience developing Salesforce solution roadmaps, transformation strategies, and enterprise architecture blueprints. Ability to travel up to 15% as needed to support client engagements. Nice-to-Haves Existing relationships with Salesforce Commerce Account Executives, Regional Vice Presidents, or other Salesforce ecosystem stakeholders. Experience supporting business development, account expansion and proposal development. Salesforce certifications in B2B Commerce, Order Management, Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, or related products. Familiarity with AI-powered consulting methodologies, automation platforms, and agentic workflows.
