Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Operating Room RN to provide specialized surgical care for patients. This role involves supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their perioperative experience.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist in surgical procedures within the operating room environment.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure proper sterilization of surgical instruments.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes during surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, to deliver optimal patient care.
• Document procedure details accurately in MEDITECH and other relevant systems.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety guidelines, and unit-specific protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure with valid state certification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an operating room setting.
• Proficient in circulating skills and surgical procedures.
• Strong understanding of surgical equipment and sterilization techniques.
• Ability to work 24-hour shift coverage and adapt to unit policies.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
