Phlebotomist Part Time

Join us in our mission to improve health and lives. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Required Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT). Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Reliable transportation. Can pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience at Labcorp. Experience with geriatric and pediatric patients. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Additional Job Standards In lieu of the state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet the license requirement. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $21.00 - $33.00 per hour. Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program : PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
