Title: Technician, Entry

• Status: Full-Time; Hourly; Non-Exempt
• Schedule: Monday - Friday; 0800hrs - 1630hrs EST
• Location: On-Site; Aberdeen, MD 21001
• Supervisory: No

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dependable entry-level or intermediate Technician/Assembler to join our Team. No prior assembly experience is required, but preferred. We provide full training on all tools, processes, safety procedures, and job tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in manufacturing or production.

• Assemble products and components according to work instructions and training provided
• Use basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Report material shortages, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors
• Work cooperatively with Team members and Supervisors
• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times
• Learn new tasks and cross-train in other assembly areas as needed.  
• Complete company-sponsored training in J-STD-001 Certification soldering standards and earn certification
• Other duties, as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• No previous experience is required; training is provided
• High school diploma
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Willingness to learn and work in a Team environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current J-STD-001 (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies) certification
• Prior Class 3 Soldering Experience
• Previous electronic assembly/production experience

Travel:

• Up to 5.0% of Continental United States (CONUS) travel less
