Registered Nurse - Step-down Unit (Night Shift)

This is a 13-week contract position with 12-hour night shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM.

The Registered Nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a step-down unit. The position requires strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records in the EMR system (Paragon and Pyxis).
• Provide education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of step-down or telemetry nursing experience is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Valid RN license.
