We are excited to offer a $1500 incentive bonus to new employees joining our maintenance team in Fairfield!/ppThe Manufacturing Maintenance Technician plays an integral part in the safe and successful production of refractory brick products at HarbisonWalker Internationals Fairfield plant. This role is responsible for insuring production equipment and machinery is functioning properly and performing routine preventative maintenance of equipment and machinery. The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician will train Production Technicians to perform routine adjustments and calibrations to machinery and will follow up with a Production Technician on any diagnostics needed to perform a needed repair. In addition, the Manufacturing Maintenance Technician maintains clean safe work environment as well as maintains professional working relationships with co-workers./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliReading blueprints to analyze and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and HVAC systems, diagnosing, and correcting the problems quickly to avoid production delays; analyzing and troubleshooting electrical malfunctions in equipment and related components, diagnosing, and correcting the problems quickly to avoid production delays; Performing mechanical and electrical preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment/liliPerforming preventative maintenance or repairs on all production and facility equipment (hydraulic presses, conveyors, mixing machines, etc.) adhering to published PM schedules; utilizing original equipment manufacturer and technical literature to coordinate preventive maintenance, systematic maintenance, predictive maintenance and critical spares/liliComplying with established facility safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), machine guarding and other regulations as applicable.
