Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Glendive, Montana.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Physical Therapist\n Discipline: Therapy\n Start Date: 10/02/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 8 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 5x8hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 2, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a combined inpatient/outpatient role requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS/State License certification.Details\n \n Acute care hospital with 24-hour emergency care, full medical and surgical services, and an attached 71-bed skilled Extended Care facility\n Level IV trauma center with 25 total staffed beds\n Work spans inpatient and outpatient settings, including Acute Care, LTAC, Outpatient Clinic, Rehabilitation Hospital, and SNF\n Patient ratio of 1:6\n Schedule is Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts (0800-1700)\n No weekend or on-call requirements\n Uses Cerner for hospital charting and PCC for long-term care charting\n Clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs\n Block scheduling accommodated\n Requirements\n \n Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required\n BLS certification required\n State license required if applicable, compact license accepted\n Non-compact or out-of-state license may take up to 8 weeks to obtain in Montana\n Prior travel experience required\n Cerner charting experience preferred\n Experience across diverse work settings including Acute Care, LTAC, Outpatient Clinic, Rehabilitation Hospital, and SNF preferred\n Skilled in treating orthopedic, neurologic, geriatric, cardiopulmonary, and wound care patient populations preferred\n Proficiency with modalities such as E-stim, TENS, Ultrasound, and traction preferred\n Experience with adaptive/assistive devices, gait belts, walkers, and lift equipment preferred\n Additional Information\n \n Responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, documentation, and development of short and long-term care plans\n Duties involve treatment planning across orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric conditions using various modalities and equipment\n No RTO permitted within the first two weeks due to orientation, with RTO limited to one week thereafter\n First-time travelers are not accepted for this role\n Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction\n Free housing available\n Free parking available\n Any scrub color accepted per facility dress code policy\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-739780.
