Phlebotomist Per Diem
$17.75 - $24 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a per diem phlebotomist for its Somerset, New Jersey location. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient information, and providing customer service in a Patient Service Center or client office setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and process billing in accurate, timely manner
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain information logs
- Provide customer service and travel to additional sites as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass color blindness test
Compensation: $17.75-$24.00 per hour
