Description:
This position is for an EEG Technician.
The shift is 3x12 hours, covering both variable hours in a clinic and hospital settings.
Candidates are required to share 24-hour call responsibilities among the team, covering the hospital year-round.
First-time travelers are accepted.
The position requires certification in Basic Life Support and Registered EEG Technologist.
Skills required include electrode placement, seizure studies, and long-term monitoring.
The technician will be responsible for setting up EEG reads and communicating with neuro providers.
Patient populations include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Candidates must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
Travelers should be prepared for potential floating to other units as needed.
Housing options in the area may be limited, and candidates are encouraged to explore this in advance.
Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
References are required covering 1 year of experience.
Only candidates without previous employment at the facility within the last 3 months will be considered.
Compliance requirements must be met prior to the start of the assignment.
