Position: Associate Practice Manager Entity: Clinical Care Associates Department: Penn Medicine Cherry Hill Location: 1865 Route 70 E Hours: Full Time Job Summary In collaboration with leadership, the Associate Practice Manager provides strategic operational leadership, supervision and direction in regards to all administrative, financial, regulatory, quality, human resources, patient/employee satisfaction, and clinical aspects for the following scope: 10 staff directly and indirectly managed, 15,000 budgeted annual visits. Responsibilities include management of daily practice operations such as patient scheduling, billing and service coordination, quality initiatives, financial goals, collaborative work environment, process efficiency, regulatory compliance, liaison to stakeholders, and staff management. Primary Accountabilities Internal relationships: Meet with employees, provide communication, partner with leadership, and support operational integration of programs. External relationships: Customer relations, facility management, clinical service groups, professional associations, and development activities. General accountabilities: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, use resources wisely, respect diversity, and participate in safety initiatives. Strategic planning: Collaborate on department/entity strategic plans and budget and participate in program development efforts. Patient care processes: Deliver high quality and efficient care, resolve concerns, and ensure outsourced services meet standards. Clinical effectiveness and quality improvement: Support creation of targets, improvement plans, and reporting systems. Regulatory compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and manage audit/survey processes. Change management: Develop and implement strategies, communication plans, and follow-up for major changes. Financial management: Oversee payroll, financial variances, revenue cycle, and managed care contracts. Participation: Support financial strategies, budgeting analysis, and development of performance targets. General accountabilities: Manage practice scheduling, office supplies, reporting, and provide research or academic support as needed. Recruitment & Retention: Select staff, create a supportive work environment, and provide orientation and training. Performance Management: Define expectations, recognize achievements, conduct appraisals, and enforce training compliance. Development: Coach staff, support skill development, and maintain learning plans. Organization Health: Ensure accessibility and effective communication with physicians and staff. Workforce Planning: Develop succession plans and support unit, department, entity, and health system organization. Qualifications High school diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience; prior management in a healthcare setting preferred. Degrees may be considered in lieu of experience. Associate's degree preferred. Salary $50,107.20 – $83,532.80 annually (based on 40 hours/week). Successful candidates receive a specific rate based on experience and education.
