Employment Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employment Associate Attorney in El Segundo, CA. Handle cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and disability accommodation. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents. Prepare for and take depositions, including defending client depositions. Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients on case strategy and execution. Independently handle court appearances, mediations, and tactical litigation tasks. Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and paralegals as needed. Support the Team Leader/Partner in advancing complex employment litigation matters. Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school. Active and good-standing membership with the California State Bar. Strong experience as an Employment Attorney litigating FEHA claims on behalf of employees. 1-3 years of experience for Junior Associate Attorney. 4-6 years of experience for Associate Attorney. Experience handling discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, disability accommodation, interactive process, and leave-related matters. Education J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership with the California State Bar. Skills Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
