Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15), Every Other Weekend Required

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Behavioral Health unit. In this role, you will provide care to patients with diagnoses including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression. The unit will accept first-time travelers and offers flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to a target patient ratio of 1:8.
• Provide medication administration and monitoring.
• Utilize the electronic charting system - EPIC.
• Float to other units as needed, primarily within behavioral health.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with social services and support staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Valid RN License (NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submittal).
• Certifications: BCLS and MOAB (facility will offer).
