What you'll do

• THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION! MUST RESIDE IN THE DFW AREA.
• Develop and analyze financial proformas for potential, new and existing communities (required proficiency with Microsoft Excel)
• Project budgeting, cash flows and other financial reporting
• Process and analyze monthly Competitive Market Analysis for each community
• Assist Land Team in due diligence, maintenance of land data bases, and CAC package preparation
• Develop skills as a super user in OneStream and JD Edwards accounting software
• Process and manage setup of vendor contracts, insurance and invoices
• Additional duties to be discussed

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required
• 2+ years of experience in a financial reporting role (construction)
• Experience with any accounting software packages and ability to quickly learn new software packages
• Advanced Excel skills including regular use of functions, pivot tables and macros
• Strong analytical, accounting and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Results oriented with ability to set realistic and attainable goals and meet those on time
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Demonstrates the highest level of ethics and personal integrity

Bonus points

• Accounting and/or business designation (CPA/MBA) a plus
• Brokerage, Home building and/or land development experience strongly preferred
• Experience with JD Edwards a definite plus
