Use Meditech for charting and Pyxis for medication administration.Misc of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room. Will need experience in the following procedures: Bariatric, Vascular, Ortho, Neuro, OB/GYN, General, Trauma, Urology, ENT and Ophthalmology. Will not have open hearts. Assist with administration of anesthesia; ensured proper positioning of patient for procedures. Maintain accurate charting throughout patient s surgical experience. Safely transported, moved and positioned patients pre and post operatively. Perform sterile surgical skin preps of specific operative sites. Initiated and maintained continuous counts of sponges and instruments throughout case.Requirements: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California, BLS, ACLS and PALS issued through American Heart Association are required. Call is required Dress code: Scrubs are provided by the hospital. Orientation offered Monday s only. Will start in Human Resources and complete paperwork and obtain badge, next onto Occupational Health for Respiratory Fit Test and then will meet with Nursing Education to complete appropriate testing for their unit. All RNs will take a medication test the first day. After testing, will go to the unit to finish their shift with a Clinical Preceptor. Will be provided three shifts with a qualified preceptor.
