This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll play a key part in delivering an outstanding shopping experience for our community. Responsibilities: Oversee daily grocery department operations including stocking, rotation, and merchandising Lead, schedule, and develop a team of grocery associates to meet store goals Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage vendor relationships Ensure proper product rotation (FIFO) and maintain department cleanliness and safety standards Analyze sales data and shrink reports to drive department performance and profitability Collaborate with store management on promotions, displays, and seasonal merchandising Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies Requirements: Strong knowledge of grocery merchandising, inventory control, and product ordering Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced retail environment Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods About Us: Redondo Beach Grocery Outlet is a locally operated store proudly serving the Redondo Beach, CA community with deeply discounted, high-quality grocery products.
