Devon Ave | Des Plaines, IL 60018 Free Parking / Free Shuttle from the Rosemont Blue Line StationEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Removes trash from work area during shiftCleans, sanitizes, stores and transports all China, glassware, utensils, silverware, pots and pansEnsures kitchens, restaurants, and group events have the daily and requested equipment and suppliesEnsures proper set-up for group eventsOperates industrial dishwashing machine and other industrial cleaning equipmentTransports kitchen equipment and supplies to various areas of Rivers CasinoSanitizes and cleans all kitchen floors, tilt kettles, and tables in food preparation areasCleans and sanitizes TDR tables, chairs, and surroundings as assignedMaintains stock levels of all food items in the TDRUses industrial strength cleaning chemicalsPulls floor mats by request in the dish room, pot areas, and all restaurantsEnsures accurate inventory of suppliesBreaks down and stores daily food and supply deliveries for TDR and StewardingEnsures proper FIFO procedures are followed when storing daily deliveriesMaintains a high degree of sanitation in work stationsKeeps food areas free of debris and trash at all timesReports to work on timeCommunicates with Supervisor when there are supply shortagesEnsures thorough communication between shiftsRemains up to date on all Departmental Policies and ProceduresComplies with all departmental rules, side work assignments, and departmental proceduresGives excellent internal and/or external guest service and proactively seeks ways to improve servicePerforms all other duties as assignedQualifications:Illinois Food Handler Certification requiredMust possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with team membersMust possess the ability to work under pressure and with a sense of urgencyMust possess a cooperative, helpful and friendly natureMaintains a neat, clean, well-groomed appearanceAbility to work overnight shifts including holidays.
