Responsibilities Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Location/work environment: In facility Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab Implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments to patients. Address the whole patient and tailor programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. Collaborate with peers and refer to other team members as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain a patient-centered, caring, and compassionate atmosphere to support patients and families. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
