Learn more at Altruix is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our production team in Vineland, NJ. This is a full-time, onsite position primarily working Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts as needed. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, production-focused pharmacy environment and is comfortable with high-volume fulfillment, packaging, and inventory workflows. Compensation: For this role ranges from $21.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. RESPONSIBILITIES Production & Inventory Process prescriptions, including filling, packaging, and labeling medications in accordance with state regulations Support high-volume production workflows, ensuring accuracy and productivity standards are met Assist with inventory management and periodic cycle counts Handle returned medications for credit or proper disposal Data Entry & Coordination Input patient data and medication orders into pharmacy systems Maintain and update resident profiles, including medication changes and order clarifications Process inbound faxes and triage new prescriptions from facilities Communicate with internal teams and partner facilities to ensure timely and accurate order processing Answer incoming calls and assist with inquiries as needed Support team members and assist with training when applicable Escalate issues or concerns to the Pharmacy Manager as needed Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED required Active New Jersey Board of Pharmacy registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee Previous experience in a pharmacy or production/fulfillment environment Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting Basic computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy systems Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience in long-term care (LTC) pharmacy or high-volume production pharmacy preferred Experience with pharmacy systems (SuiteRx, Framework, PrimeRx, or similar) preferred National certification (CPhT) preferred BENEFITS Competitive hourly rate ($21.00 – $23.00 per hour) Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Long-Term Disability 401(k) program Paid time off Paid holidays EEOC Altruix is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in recruiting, hiring, placement, training, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfers, leaves of absence, compensation, or other employment practices based on any protected characteristic under federal, state, or local law.
