Police Officer: Protect & Investigate Community

City of Downey is hiring Police Officers to perform law enforcement, enforce traffic regulations, and assist in crime prevention and investigations. Academy-trained entrants start at the A step of the pay range and participate in selection/testing processes.

Requires high school diploma, completion of CA POST Academy within 24 months or current enrollment; 21+ years old; valid CA driver's license; ability to work nights/weekends; ability to carry firearms.
