Loan Processing Specialist

Pinnacle Home Improvements is growing, and we are looking for a Loan Processing Specialist who understands lending and credit application processes, moves quickly, and knows how to create a great experience for both the customer and the sales team. In this role, you will support our in home sales representatives while they are meeting with homeowners. When a homeowner applies for financing, you will help process the application, work with our lending partners, review information for accuracy, and help move the application toward a financing decision while the customer is still in the home.You will evaluate the creditworthiness of customers and advise on the approval of extending credit. This is a fast paced role where accuracy, urgency, communication, and teamwork matter. This position provides ample bonus opportunities with top producers earn $30+ per hour. What You’ll Do Process consumer financing applications submitted by our sales representatives Review applications for accuracy, completeness, and required information Work directly with sales representatives to resolve application issues and obtain additional information Submit and upload applications and supporting documentation to lending partners Review credit and financial information and follow lender requirements Communicate financing options, approval information, and next steps to sales representatives and customers Monitor applications and help move homeowners through the financing process quickly and accurately Maintain accurate financing records, notes, and documentation Partner closely with Sales and Operations to create a smooth customer experience Identify discrepancies or issues and elevate when appropriate Help the sales team stay focused on the homeowner by taking ownership of the financing process behind the scenes Contribute to a team environment built around Beyond Better, Climb Higher, Serve Always, and Succeed Together Who We’re Looking For You do not have to come from home improvement. We are looking for someone with a strong consumer lending or loan processing background who can learn our business and become a trusted partner to our sales team.You may be a great fit if you have experience in: Loan processing Auto finance Personal loans Credit or underwriting support Customer financing We especially value someone who is: A Team Player:You work well with sales and operations and understand that everyone is working toward the same goal. What You Bring 2+ years of consumer lending, loan processing, credit, or related financial services experience preferred Loan processing experience strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies Comfortable working with credit applications and financial information Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working with multiple applications and priorities at the same time Ability to work quickly and accurately in a time sensitive environment Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace CRM experience preferred; Lead Perfection experience is a plus Reliable, accountable, and committed to doing what you say you will do Additional Information Compensation: $18+ per hour based on experience, plus bonus opportunity Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekday evening and Saturday coverage based on business needs Work Location: Hybrid opportunity with two days per week working from home; based out of our Nashville offices.
