We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Production & Prototyping Manager to support our manufacturing operations and product development initiatives.

Position Summary

\n

The Assistant Production & Prototyping Manager will work closely with the Production Manager and engineering/design teams to oversee daily manufacturing operations, improve production efficiency, and lead prototype development efforts. This role requires furniture manufacturing knowledge, strong leadership skills, and hands-on prototyping experience. There is opportunity of growth for this position, as well as production based incentives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily production operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
\n
• Coordinate workflow between production, engineering, design, and quality teams.
\n
• Oversee the development, construction, testing, and refinement of furniture prototypes.
\n
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and production requirements.
\n
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
\n
• Support training and development of production personnel.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Minimum 5 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, woodworking, upholstery, or related production environments.
\n
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or production leadership experience.
\n
• Prototyping experience is mandatory, including development and refinement of furniture products from concept through production.
\n
• Strong knowledge of furniture construction methods, materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
