Job Overview A law firm seeks a Legacy Law Associate Attorney to join their team in Asheville, NC. Duties Meet with clients to understand their family dynamics, goals, and concerns. Design and implement customized estate and legacy plans. Draft wills, trusts, and related planning documents. Advise on asset protection and eligibility planning strategies. Guide clients through probate and trust administration. Collaborate with financial advisors, CPAs, and other professionals. Build long‑term relationships with clients as a trusted advisor. Attend court for incompetency and guardianship proceedings. Represent clients in will contests and beneficiary advocacy. Requirements Licensed attorney in North Carolina or South Carolina, or ability to become licensed quickly. Experience in estate planning, elder law, or related field preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable guiding sensitive conversations. Detail‑oriented with sound legal judgment. Able to balance empathy with efficiency. Growth‑minded and committed to learning and refining your craft. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in North Carolina or South Carolina.
