Product Designer, App Store

Transform how people discover and use apps on Apple’s platforms. In this onsite role in Los Angeles, CA , you’ll join the App Store Product Design team as a hands‑on digital product designer, working with cross-functional partners to research, design, and prototype new user experiences across iOS, Mac, TV, and web . Depending on eligibility, the role may also include discretionary bonuses or commission payments and relocation . Responsibilities Work across Apple platforms including iOS, Mac, TV, and web . Research, design, and prototype new user experiences aligned to product requirements . Produce design deliverables such as design mockups , prototypes , visual assets , and documentation needed for implementation. Develop and present design ideas in a large team environment . Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering , Production , Product Marketing , and Senior Management . Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction, Graphic Design, Media Arts, or equivalent experience. 4 to 8 years of design experience working within a technical environment . An excellent online portfolio demonstrating UX, UI, and visual design work for mobile devices. Enthusiasm for an iterative design process inspired by group critique. Ability to communicate concepts through sketches and wireframes . Strong collaboration skills, with ability to function independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal). Passion for Apple, its products, and its customers . Interest in new technologies including AI , AR/VR , web , mobile , and other devices. Strong communication and organization skills. Ability to prototype in HTML/CSS/JavaScript , AfterEffects , or other tools. Technologies iOS, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, AfterEffects, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote and experience with AI, AR/VR, web, mobile, TV, Mac, Apple Vision . Includes prototyping in HTML/CSS/JavaScript , working in a design tools environment, and experience in an iOS development and e-commerce environment (where applicable). Preferred Qualifications Experience designing iOS app experiences from start to finish as a product designer, with familiarity of iOS development . Plus: UI and visual design work for desktop, TV, web, or Apple Vision . Plus: previous experience in an e-commerce environment . Highly skilled with Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote and other design tools. Plus: ability to prototype in HTML/CSS/JavaScript , AfterEffects , or other tools. A deep understanding of the Apple design aesthetic , UI, and history. Pay & Benefits The base pay range for this role is $175,000 to $308,500 per year. Base pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple benefit, compensation, and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
