STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) Job Opportunity in Vinton, Ohio

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated STNA to join our team at Silk In-Home Care, providing high-quality non-medical care services to seniors and individuals with personal care needs throughout southern Ohio. Job Summary:

As an STNA, you will provide daily living assistance to our clients, including meal delivery, ambulation, and personal hygiene care. You will also document food and fluid intake, assist with feeding and serving nutritional supplements, and maintain a clean and tidy living environment. You will be expected to adhere to professional standards, follow all policies and procedures, and abide by federal, state, and local requirements and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal delivery, ambulation, and personal hygiene care

• Document food and fluid intake

• Assist clients with feeding and serving nutritional supplements

• Make the client's beds and keep their living areas clean and tidy

• Adhere to professional standards and follow all policies and procedures

• Abide by all federal, state, and local requirements and standards

• Maintain the confidentiality of all client data

Requirements:

• Current and Valid CNA certification

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Effective communication skills

• Good collaboration and teamwork skills

• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities

• Keen attention to detail

• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations

• Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions

• Physical strength and stamina

• First aid and CPR certifications

Work Environment:

• Our STNA positions are full-time opportunities, working in clients' homes throughout southern Ohio

• You will be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, working closely with other caregivers and healthcare professionals
