Registered Nurse (RN) - Psych

Registered Nurse – Geropsychiatric

Schedule: Night Shift 7p-7a

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• 2-year Associate's degree or diploma from a 3-year Nursing program required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Valid State of New Hampshire RN license
• BLS certification required
• 1 year previous nursing experience preferred
• Medical terminology knowledge required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive nursing care activities on the Geropsychiatric Unit.
• Assess, monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient reports and medical histories.
• Perform mental and physical assessments, administer medications, and provide assistance with daily activities.
• Manage activities with the therapeutic milieu including conducting daily groups and collaborating with the treatment team.
• Complete individualized treatment plans and discharge plans efficiently.

Compliance / Notes:

• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
• The facility has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
