This Customer Service Representative role is being offered as Part-Time. What you’ll do Represent the company professionally and courteously in all interactions with clients and patients. Route telephone calls to the appropriate department or individual. Establish and maintain client records. Communicate with billing department to ensure proper billing to insurance companies, contracts, other third party payers and client/patients for all products and services delivered; maintain accurate billing records. Communicate client information necessary to schedule home medical equipment services. Determine correct resolution to client complaints; take corrective action, and monitor results. Prepare and secure Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMNs). What you\'ll need One year of experience in Home Medical (HME) Customer Service preferred. Insurance reimbursement knowledge and health insurance billing experience preferred. Effective interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills. Strong communication skills in speaking and writing. Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records. Ability to recognize and direct information to the appropriate health care provider. Computer skills that include word processing and efficient use of the internet and e-mail.
